About Us

The American Association of University Women (AAUW) is a nationwide network of more than 100,000 members and donors which includes 1,000 branches and 600 college/university institution partners. AAUW network of local branches are located across the continental United States and Alaska formed into state and national components. For 130 years, AAUW members have examined and taken positions on the fundamental issues of the day – educational, social, economic and political. The membership’s commitment to our missions is reflected in all aspects of their work.

The Greater Naples Branch is one of the most active in the state of Florida. With a membership of approximately 100, and growing, it is a well respected organization within the community because of its commitment to the community. In addition to the benefits offered all AAUW members, branch members enjoy opportunities to network at the local level, sponsor community action projects to promote equity, serve in branch leadership positions and lobby local and state legislators on AAUW priority issues.

The Greater Naples Branch, AAUW, monthly meetings and events are open to all members and to the public. The meetings are from 2:00 to 4:00 PM , at the Gaynor Building at Hodges University, 2655 Northbrooke Drive, Naples, FL. (Enter the campus and drive down the road until it begins to arc to the right. You will see the parking lot and building, the entrance is on the west side. We are on the second floor, reception in the lounge, meeting in Room 210/211.)

Everyone entering the building will need to sign in, present an ID and get a pass.
